The Transitional Housing site is looking a little more fresh and new after a volunteer group from Pegasus Logistics did some hard work last week! This group of eager helpers worked to install new screen doors on five units, installed Ring doorbells on all units, cleaned two empty units from top to bottom, and removed trash from around the property!
“They all had beautiful spirits,” said Martisha Smith, Transitional Housing Manager, “and after all of the work that they completed, they came back to ask if there was anything else that we needed.”
Her statement reflects on all of our wonderful volunteers that dedicate their time to all things GRACE – including projects like these! The new doorbells provide an extra sense of security, and the clean units are ready to welcome new clients. Removal of trash and new doors helps the space look clean and refreshed. It’s the little things that make a big difference for our Transitional Housing clients!
