We are T-Minus 2 weeks away from GRACE’s Volunteer Appreciation week and the annual GRACE Volunteer Appreciation Awards Luncheon- to honor all our real life super heroes in the community. We do not want you to miss out on all the exciting activities we have in store for you!

This year, GRACE staff is going all out to make this a perfect week for GRACE Volunteers. Here is just a sneak peek of what will be happening at some of the sites.

During the week, GRACE Community Clinic will be passing out gift cards to their volunteers and Client Services will be giving out goodie bags.

On Tuesday, April 11th the Donation Station team is gearing up to provide a light breakfast for their Volunteers. This is no ordinary breakfast, this is a Superhero Breakfast full of fruits and Pastries for everyone to enjoy. Volunteers will also have a chance to mingle with other Volunteers and have their photo taken at the Superhero Photo booth provided by Donation Station staff! Volunteers dedicate so many hours to unloading, sorting, pricing, and testing all GRACE donations, and we just want to say thank you!

Wednesday, April 12th, Transitional Housing Manager, Martisha Smith, and T.H. Assistant Manager, Rene Oldfield have a special treat for their Volunteers. This treat will be a come & go event but our Volunteers will definitely feel the love as soon as they walk in. Superhero capes, bracelets, and Decorated Cookies are just some of the treats that volunteers will receive for the Transitional Housing Volunteer Appreciation party. Not only do our Transitional Housing Volunteers help to furnish new apartments, but they also serve as friends to our GRACE clients, ensuring them they are not alone on their journey towards self-sufficiency.

Finally, to wrap up Volunteer Appreciation Week is, of course, the Volunteer Appreciation Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 14th at Whites Chapel Methodist Church in Southlake. This jammed-packed Superhero themed luncheon will celebrate all of the achievements of volunteers from the Year 2022, and give out specific awards to outstanding volunteers. Check-in will begin at 11:00 am, with the program following at 11:30 am. There will be a photo booth on-site to take pictures with friends, family, staff, and fellow volunteers. We are so excited about this Super-Event and we can’t wait to see you there. To RSVP for the GRACE Volunteer Appreciation Awards Luncheon, please RSVP HERE TODAY! Please be sure to RSVP By Monday, April 10th.

GRACE values each and every volunteer who steps foot on a GRACE ready to serve the community. Volunteers dedicate thousands of hours to GRACE annually and are the heart and soul of the GRACE mission. To all GRACE Volunteers and Supporters, we say, thank you for being the Superheroes of our community!
