Historically, so many aspects of the GRACE Gala make it the place to be on the first Saturday in November! Attendees enjoy an evening of elegant dress, an exquisite dinner, and sharing a room full of servant–hearted local community members giving to help those in need. Two very important events also stand out that evening; the GRACE Gala Live and silent auctions. These auctions display an amazing selection of items and experiences- and all money raised goes to GRACE programs that assist local communities.
That evening’s auction items include some of the most generous donations from individuals and businesses in our communities! From five-star restaurant dinners to fine jewelry to all-inclusive vacations, the auction is always a highlight at the Gala. So many of the auction items cannot be found anywhere else and are definitely coveted by those who attend!
The 2023 GRACE Gala Auction committee is currently seeking donations. One of the great ways to build up the auction is through our Gifting Party, a chance for GRACE supporters throughout the community to come together for a fun night that also supports the Gala.
In the past, Mike Speets, owner of Crush It! Sports Lounge in Grapevine, has graciously hosted this great event. Since everyone had such a great time, the party will continue there again this year! On Wednesday, August 23 from 6PM to 8PM, join us for drink, appetizers, and gaming – all complimentary! All you need to do is bring a gift for the auction that is valued at $100 or more. Restaurant gift cards are an easy gift, and are always a hit at the auction! Other items brought to the Gifting Party have included gift baskets, spa gift cards, golf outings, wine and liquor baskets, and sports tickets!
Can’t make it to the party, but still want to donate to the Gala auction? No problem! Visit the gala website at gracegala.com to find our auction donation form, and return it to Emily Miranda, Special Events Manager, at emiranda@GRACEGrapevine.org. Auction items can be brought to the main GRACE office at 837 E. Walnut Street, anytime Monday through Friday during normal business hours. If you’re unable to bring your items during that time frame, let Emily know and we will work with you to ensure your gift is received!
