It’s that time of year again! Time to toss our caps in the air and celebrate those who have completed another year’s worth of learning and endless opportunities through leadership programs in local Chambers. GRACE has some of its own that have completed some courses right here in our community!
Bethany Hardikar has been a GRACE Staff for a little over a year, serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. While she enjoys her job so much, she also loves being a part of Leadership Colleyville. Leadership Colleyville is a program designed to inspire individual leadership growth by providing a curriculum that will lead to a firm understanding of the Colleyville community and surrounding areas. This program supports continued development and provides a forum for the exchange of community information, resources, and viewpoints.
During her time in Leadership Colleyville, Bethany sites that the class gave her a “deeper respect and appreciation for all of our civil servants in the community”.
“It was fascinating to see how they are using technology and implementing new programs to grow with the changes and needs within the community. It was an honor to be in a class of strong, influential women, too.
Leadership Grapevine offers an educational experience designed to develop an awareness of the city, and its relationship with the DFW Metroplex and to provide personal leadership training. One member of this year’s graduating class is GRACE’s Volunteer Manager, Ryan Jackson.
Ryan has been with GRACE for about a year and a half and enjoys making new connections to help better the community. “Being a part of Leadership Grapevine is a huge highlight for me” said Ryan. The new things that I’ve learned, the supporters, and the friends that I have made in the last eight months are just some of the things from this awesome program that I will keep with me forever.”
GRACE Staff has been involved in local chambers since GRACE inception in 1987. GRACE has staff graduates from HEB Chamber, Keller, and Southlake as well! Currently, we have multiple Ambassadors and officers in the Chamber groups. GRACE continually look for ways to stay involved to assist our communities and Chambers.
We want to thank GRACE staff, donors, supporters, and volunteers for their continued service in the community. We appreciate the hard work of this community!
