Over the past few weeks, GRACE staff have been very active and present at many events, honoring, serving, or benefiting from this beloved community. From cheering on our local dancers in the Colleyville Rotary Dancing for the Stars to showing support and raising funds for Me Squared Cancer Foundation, you can always find a part of GRACE wherever you go around the community.
On March 3, staff and volunteers joined GRACE in supporting the Colleyville Woman’s Club Fashion show & Benefit. Hosted at the Hurst Convention Center, this year’s Fashion Show was one of the best ones yet. This year GRACE was proud to have three Men of Distinction as a part of the luncheon. Chief Financial Officer, Mark Woolverton, Volunteer Manager, Ryan Jackson, and Pantry Manager, Kyle Bucannon showed what it takes to be a Men of Distinction. From strutting the runway to serving the ladies at their tables, these incredible gentlemen made our GRACE family proud. GRACE is truly honored to be part of the CWC Charitable Grants and Community Projects!
Finally, with March underway, GRACE’s third party events are starting up and our programs are so thankful! The newly opened Chicken N Pickle in Grapevine is off to a beautiful start serving both GRACE and the community. Not only did they host an incredible happy hour during their opening week for the public, but they also started their 2023 Community Cup Campaign. GRACE is excited to be one of the first local organizations to benefit from this awesome campaign. For every beverage purchased in a Green Cup at Chicken N Pickle, proceeds are given back to local organizations, and from March 1 -15th, proceeds will go to GRACE. There is still time left for you to serve your community! Go to Chicken & Pickle now and participate. You don’t want to miss this awesome way of giving back!
This year is off to a terrific start and we cannot wait to see what the rest of this year holds, right here in our own backyard!
