During the fiscal year that ended August 31, the Self-Select Food Pantry welcomed 11,129 client visits. The GRACE Grocery Give-Away provided food to more than 5,750 people. This past Summer, GRACE Feed Our Kids served 34,265 lunches.

Organized like an old-time grocery store, the GRACE Food Pantry offers four aisles of canned and boxed goods, meats, dairy, and eggs, produce and bread, hygiene and cleaning supplies, pet food, and infant care products.

Volunteers and staff deliver groceries and other goods to the homes of isolated seniors and mobility-challenged adults. They also serve as the “eyes and ears” of GRACE to observe and listen for any other needs to help our clients.

For eleven Summer weeks and Spring Break, volunteers and staff serve lunches and provide activities for children in at-risk neighborhoods.

In conjunction with the North Texas Food Bank, GRACE volunteers and staff bring produce, dairy, and others foodstuffs directly into the neighborhoods that need it most.

New in 2023, White’s Chapel Methodist Church and the GRACE Food Pantry have teamed to provide year-round food availability to those in need. The White’s Chapel Mobile Market opens at the Grapevine Community Outreach Center the second Thursday of each month.
TOLO Boxes

Currently in four locations across Grapevine, GRACE TOLO (Take One-Leave One) Boxes offer food staples for those in immediate need. The Food Pantry regularly refills each box, but GRACE is seeking “sponsors” to help keep the boxes full. Most patrons truly try to respect the “Leave One” suggestion.

Community Gardens
Managed by Texas-certified gardeners, the Community Gardens add about a ton of fresh produce into the Food Pantry every season. It is one of the favorite locations for volunteer families to serve our community, and learn how to grow a garden.
Holiday Distributions
Holiday Distributions
For Thanksgiving and Christmas, volunteers and staff arrange the Food Pantry parking lot to distribute all the makings of a holiday feast, featuring a ham or turkey all the way to a holiday cake or pie.
