Whether you’re an individual or part of a church group, scout troop or corporate team, there’s a place for you in our volunteer program for a day or on an ongoing basis.

GRACE offers many types of volunteer opportunities for individuals ages 16+ that can fit into anyone’s schedule. Our volunteers can get started with a simple 2-step process!

HOW TO VOLUNTEER

GENERAL VOLUNTEERS

All new GRACE volunteers must submit an application prior to volunteering with GRACE. (Process varies for CSR volunteers – Please see CSR section below)

TO GET STARTED:

  1. Visit our General site by clicking here.
  2. Create your volunteer account and login.
  3. Select a volunteer type (more info listed below under “General Volunteers”)
    • Complete all relevant applications and watch the Orientation Video
  4. Once all requirements have been completed, you are ready to start volunteering!

*Businesses, Church, Civic, and other Groups: Do not sign up through Voly. Contact Volunteer@GRACEGrapevine.org to schedule your group date! For more information, see Groups/Scouts below!

COMMUNITY SERVICE RESTITUTION (CSR) VOLUNTEERS

Those seeking to complete court-appointed hours (CSR) must submit a volunteer application and a copy of their court paperwork prior to volunteering with GRACE.

TO GET STARTED:

  1. Visit our CSR site by clicking here.
  2. Create your volunteer account and login.
  3. Select from 2 volunteer types (CSR Volunteer & Youth Volunteer)
    • Complete all relevant applications, submit required paperwork, and watch the Orientation Video
  4. Once all requirements have been completed, you are ready to start volunteering!

Please note: Due to the nature of the work conducted here, GRACE cannot provide CSR opportunities to persons with theft, burglary or fraud, violence or assault charges, or charges related to these.

GROUP VOLUNTEER DATES & SCOUT TROOPS

Group Volunteer Dates:

Businesses, churches, organizations, and families interested in scheduling a group volunteer activity with GRACE can reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator at Volunteer@GRACEGrapevine.org, with a brief description of the event and any relevant dates and times (if applicable) to get started! *Volunteer Groups do not create a volunteer account on Voly or submit a volunteer application.

Eagle & Girl Scouts:

Interested in doing a project for GRACE? Schedule an introductory meeting with the GRACE Volunteer Coordinator at Volunteer@GRACEGrapevine.org to get started! *Depending on the project, you may need to submit a volunteer application and complete the necessary volunteer requirements.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Administrative

Various duties in multiple departments.

Clinic

Physicians, nurses, pharmacists, interpreters, intake and exit desk receptionists, and health educators.

Clothing Room

Sorting and sizing clothes, creating clothing packets for clients.

Christmas Cottage

Opportunities to help clean, set up, operate, and tear down.

Commodities Delivery

Deliver groceries to senior homes once a month.

Development

Data entry and special events (including the GRACE Gala).

Feed Our Kids

Summer lunch program. More details on Feed Our Kids page.

Friends & Family

Support elderly individuals at risk of isolation. More details on Friends & Family page.

Food Pantry

Re-stock food and toiletry items, sort food from drives, assist with check-out, etc.

White’s Chapel Mobile Market

Assist clients experiencing food insecurity select quality groceries. Extra space Extra space  Extra SIGN UP HERE. 

GRACE Community Garden

Seasonal planting and garden maintenance.

Resale Stores and Operations

Donation Station and GRACEful Buys: Re-stock merchandise, help with displays, serve as sales associate, cashier, and customer service. Help with donor pick-up and deliveries on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday (must be able to list 50-70 lbs. for this position).
