On Wednesday, August 23rd, GRACE ushered in the Gala season with the fun-filled Gifting Party! Hosted by Mike Speets of Crush It! Virtual Sports Lounge in Grapevine, we had an amazing turn out of GRACE supporters! The Gifting Party serves as a way for staff to collect some amazing items for the Gala auction while also celebrating donors with food, drink, and fun!
We collected over 30 items, from local restaurant gift cards, to self-care products, to gorgeous art pieces! Volunteers and staff will catalog each item to prepare them for auction at the Gala. Every item plays an important role, as the proceeds from each auction sale will help keep the GRACE mission alive. The Gala features both a silent and live auction, and truly offers something for everyone!
Guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks courtesy of Crush It! and enjoyed playing the wide variety of games available! From Uno to tabletop corn hole to virtual golf, everyone had a great time. Guests also heard from Stacy Pacholick, Interim Executive Director, Emily Miranda, Special Events Manager, and Madeline and David Ricci, the 2023 Gala Co-Chairs. Sharing stories of clients served, and why GRACE matters to each person, inspired the crowd in big ways, and reminded everyone why small things like the Gifting Party matter.
Many also purchased raffle tickets – and so can you! An amazing trip to a gorgeous Montana mountain ranch is up for grabs, and you need not be present at the Gala to win! Purchase tickets here to get your chance to win! Tickets at 1 for $50 and 5 for $200.
GRACE is so thankful to the staff at Crush It! for being such incredible hosts, making sure every single person was taken care of that night. We are thankful to each and every person that came out to support the Gala efforts, and to every business and donor that provided items for the auction! It takes a village to put on a successful Gala and the Gifting Party is a great example of that!
