The Colleyville Chamber hosted it’s 34th annual Golf Classic last week and we must say, it was a nice drive down the fairway!
The Colleyville Golf Classic is one of the community’s most beloved events for golfers, sponsors, and volunteers to connect with resources to grow their business while enjoying a nice day out at the golf course.
This year’s Golf Classic was held at Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club in Keller and drew in numerous individuals in the community including 128 golfers, 35 volunteers, and 27 sponsors, along with the event’s presenting sponsors, the City of Colleyville and Jason Ridley Agency.
Chelsea Rose, CEO and President of the Colleyville Chamber, showed her gratitude by thanking all of the sponsors, volunteers, and participants for their dedication to this year’s Golf Classic and remarking that “each year the Golf Classic continues to grow because of the outstanding folks in our community.”
The scenery at Sky Creek Ranch mixed with the mouthwatering breakfast and lunch meals served to the players, (which were graciously sponsored by Compass Church) made the day even better.
In addition to taking part in an event that genuinely gives back to the community in a classic manner, players and teams have the chance to win fantastic prizes.
The winners of this year’s competition received trophies from All About Recognition. A $50 Bear Creek gift card, a $50 Loveria gift card, two bottles of wine, an ICR Discovery Center ticket package, and a City of Colleyville tote bag were awarded to the winners of the longest drive and closest distance to the pin. The Aces Split raffle winner shared the cash prize with the chamber, and the winner of the putting competition received a staycation at the Westin Southlake with dinner and breakfast for two.
