Our dedicated Elves and volunteers worked tirelessly to relocate all the Cottage necessities into the amazing space; complete with a fireplace to really make it feel like home. All we need now is YOUR help to bring it to life! Each year, GRACE’s Christmas Cottage provides families facing financial hardship, a unique “shopping” experience by allowing parents to select new, unwrapped gifts for their children. The family is also provided an opportunity to select a family game or puzzle; a small household item; books; and even wrapping paper and ribbon to complete the Christmas tradition. We appreciate all of our volunteers for making this transition with us, and we are so excited to see where it will take us! On Saturday, February 1st, the 7th annual Poker Tournament will be held once more at Park Place Land Rover DFW, located in Grapevine at 1300 E State Hwy 114, Dallas, TX 75261. Read more →This week, GRACE held its annual Thanksgiving Food Distribution! Clients were given dinner packages containing all of the holiday staples and were met with the compassion of our wonderful volunteers. This year, GRACE distributed 598 boxes over the course of three days! In the past, our Holiday Food Distribution has served a total of 800 families every year, which is expected to increase this year. We couldn’t begin to accomplish these numbers without the help of our volunteers! Read more →In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, GRACE offices have adjusted operating hours: GRACEful Buys Grapevine and Euless will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and reopen for Black Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Donation Station will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and resume normal hours on Friday, November 29th. GRACE Programs, Development, and Administrative offices will close at 3 p.m. on November 27th, and reopen on Monday, December 2nd. Our care managers are the hands of GRACE to each individual and family and they show an extraordinary amount of care to each one. This single mother had been recently diagnosed with both breast and hip cancer and was in chronic pain due to her condition. We have been awarded GOLD Plus Recognition for the eighth consecutive year for the Target: BP Program through the American Heart Association (AHA)! In summary, this means that over 70% of our clients with a hypertension diagnosis have been able to keep their blood pressure in check per the American Heart Association standards for blood pressure control. Our clinic’s percentage is 81% – which is incredible! The clinic was also honored to receive a Gold level recognition from the AHA as part of their 2024 Check. Change. Control.
