Thank you First Baptist Grapevine for including GRACE in their Mission Sunday! The goal of this particular Sunday is to leave attendees inspired and have more information on practical ways to combine their talents or interests with the mission of God and encourage them to engage in the good work these organizations are doing here in our local community and around the world. First Baptist Grapevine invites several different organizations, both local and global, to set up booths and gives them a platform to present the purpose of each of their missions to each attendee.  All organizations were set up outside the auditorium and different age groups visited the booths in waves throughout the morning – ages ranging from children to senior adults. Thank you for including GRACE in this educational and inspiring Sunday!

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, GRACE offices have adjusted operating hours: GRACEful Buys Grapevine and Euless will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and reopen for Black Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Donation Station will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and resume normal hours on Friday, November 25th. GRACE Programs, Development, and Administrative offices will close at 3 p.m. on November 22nd, and reopen on Monday, November 27th.   If you are in need of emergency assistance that cannot wait until normal operating hours, please contact client services at 817.602.1204. A heartfelt thank you to Park Place Lexus for hosting their annual toy drive for the GRACE Christmas Cottage on the evening of Thursday, November 9th! Attendees of the evening enjoyed bites from The Henley, Postino, and Brio, as well as artisan coffee and hot chocolate from Boxcar Junction, and a sampling of Japanese Whisky Toki. Live entertainment from the Royal Dukes Band elevated the evening as guests discovered the all-new 2024 Lexus TX, customized cowboy hats with Bumble and Brim, and built their ideal s’more. This event signifies that Christmas is officially in the air for GRACE – thank you Park Place Lexus for another unforgettable year! Can you believe it? The 20th Annual GRACE Gala has come and gone, and we are still in awe of what an amazing night it was. Filled with good food and drink, inspiring stories, live music, and an overflow of generosity, this will forever be a night to remember!  Led by co-chairs Madeline and David Ricci, the 2023 GRACE Gala took place once more at the Irving Convention Center in Las Colinas. A record 900 guests attended to show their support for the GRACE mission! GRACE is honored to announce that the Food Pantry is a recipient of a grant from H-E-B/Central Market to help keep shelves stocked for the upcoming holiday season! As many of you know, GRACE offers a self-select food pantry so that our families can shop for the food that is most enjoyed within their households. This means that our community helps fill the shelves with the tastes of the season we all know so well. However, amid all the holiday excitement, it is often that the pantry staples necessary for every home i.e. cooking oil, flour, sugar, pasta, pasta sauce, rice, and breakfast cereal run low. In the hopes of ensuring a smooth holiday season for our Food Pantry, GRACE applied for a grant from H-E-B/Central Market and were thrilled that they heard our request, and granted it! The GRACE Clothing Room is preparing for the fast-approaching change of season, and we need your help! Dina Pesina, the manager of the Clothing Room, has an urgent need for children’s small and medium socks as well as children’s coats of all sizes. One of the most important things GRACE can do for our families is to reinforce that even the smallest need they have, GRACE will meet. Providing something as small as a pair of children’s socks helps to secure the family and build confidence that our caseworkers have the client and their households’ every need in mind as they guide them on their journey back to self-sufficiency. As GRACE is the only source of cold-weather clothing for hundreds of families we thank you in advance for helping us meet this need!

The GRACE Gala in and of itself would just be another fantastic party, but it’s the purpose that sets it apart.
