As we continue through the summer months and edge closer to fall, we are getting excited for the 12th Annual Classic Chevrolet Charity Golf Tournament! Through this tournament, set to take place on Thursday, October 5th, Classic Chevrolet will be supporting a number of local organizations – including GRACE!
For several years now, the employees of Classic Chevrolet have been involved with the community on multiple levels and have always been encouraged by owner Tom Durant to expand on that involvement.
Tom and his wife Susan put out the challenge for the employees to “raise as much as they could” for the community, and they would personally match it dollar for dollar. In 2012, a committee was formed by the employees of Classic Chevrolet to take fundraising efforts to the next level, and thus began the annual golf tournament.
This golf tournament is one of the many ways Classic Chevrolet chooses to support GRACE, and we are so thankful. The tournament is also made possible by The Tom and Susan Durant foundation, another generous GRACE supporter. It is through the help of community members and organizations like these that the any GRACE programs are able to succeed!
With opportunities for sponsorship, an auction, and volunteering, this is sure to be a great event! Plus, it will take place at the beautiful Bear Creek Golf Course. Registration will open at 9AM, and tee time will be at 11AM. So gather your clubs, and get ready to golf for GRACE!
