The 11th Annual Classic Chevrolet Charity Golf Tournament is October 5th and GRACE is honored to be one of the recipients of this year’s tournament once again.
For over a decade, the Classic Chevrolet staff have been wonderful supporters of GRACE and its programs. Classic has been the Presenting Sponsor of the GRACE Gala for 15 years. They have also been involved in The Christmas Cottage and toy drives that have benefited many families during the holidays.
This year, GRACE is one of thirteen local charities supported by the Golf Tournament. Classic Chevrolet Owners Susan and Tom Durant challenge their employees each year to “raise as much money as they [can] and to give back to this great community.”
For the Classic Chevrolet Charity Golf Tournament, a variety of charities are selected by the Durants that combat poverty, hunger, homelessness, children and adults with disabilities, and support military causes, among many others that serve the community faithfully. In return, Tom and Susan match 100% of all proceeds that are raised. To date, the couple and the employees of Classic Chevrolet have raised over $3.6 million.
Along with GRACE, other beneficiaries from the tournament include 6 Stones, Rise Adaptive Sports, Food for the Soul the Clubhouse for Special Needs, GallantFew, Ryan Siddique Scholarship Fund, Me Squared Cancer Foundation, Community Storehouse, The Salvage Yard, GCISD VAST program, Trinity High School, Chari-T2000, and ACT.
GRACE is truly blessed to have an impactful partnership with Classic Chevrolet Fleet & Commercial. Classic’s support for the community and their desire to assist in providing essential care for individuals and families is second to none.
You do not want to miss the friendly competition, food, fun, and more all on the beautiful drive down the fairway next week. Did we mention former NFL quarterback Babe Laufenberg will be the special guest?
