On October 16th, GRACE Grapevine hosted a dazzling VIP party at the Glass Cactus nightclub within the Gaylord Texan Resort to express their gratitude to the generous Gala sponsors and VIP guests. The event marked the beginning of the celebration for this year’s Gala theme, “The Stories of GRACE.” This theme highlights the impactful stories that GRACE has been honored to be a part of and that underscore the importance of community partnerships.
The exclusive event showcased the resort’s luxurious amenities and culinary excellence, offering guests a night of appreciation and excitement as the Gala Auction for this year’s event was unveiled. Guests were greeted by Justin and Theresa Mason, the Gala Chairs, and had the opportunity to mingle, enjoy drinks, and indulge in a tantalizing array of appetizers from the resort’s diverse dining options.
The VIP party was generously sponsored by Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse. Monica Forester, Marketing Manager at Chama Gaúcha, addressed the crowd of over 130 guests, expressing the restaurant’s support for GRACE.
During the program, Gala Chairs Theresa and Justin Mason extended their heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors in attendance. They acknowledged the sponsors’ invaluable contributions to GRACE and their dedication to positively impacting the community.
“Grapevine is our home, and we love living, working and serving here. We have always felt like a community knows best how to serve its own community members. GRACE is an incredible example of doing that well. In the time that we have been in Grapevine, we have seen the services and programs expand to meet the needs of the community.”
A highlight of the evening was the gourmet food so graciously prepared from the VIP Party host, the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center and their acclaimed restaurants. Attendees had the opportunity to savor delectable dishes from a variety of culinary traditions, including Tex-Mex, Italian, and American cuisine.
Rebecca Cox, GRACE CEO spoke on the impact made through donations to the GRACE Gala. “Thanks to your support, we’ve made a tremendous difference in our community over the past year. We’ve helped 4,150 households improve their health by providing over $633,790 in life-saving prescriptions, including insulin through our clinic. Your generosity ensured that families didn’t go hungry through 9,692 pantry visits. Additionally, 519 families facing the threat of homelessness were able to leave GRACE with rental assistance and a sustainable plan for self-sufficiency”.
Closing out the evening was Cass Clements, Gala Auction Chair, who spotlighted a few of the many generous auction donations for the Gala! “Because every item donated represents a generous contribution to GRACE programs, and each bid made brings hope to those in need” Clements stated. “But what makes this event truly special is the impact it will have on countless lives. The funds raised through the auction will be used to support GRACE, such as providing medical care, rent assistance, or groceries to a family.”
