AJ’s on Main 2nd Annual Music Fest Benefitting GRACE

AJ’s BBQ on Main celebrated their 10-year anniversary on April 1st, and as a way to continue the celebration, AJ Gillinger and his family have decided to give back to the community of Grapevine!

On Saturday, May 6th, come join the fun by celebrating AJ’s and our community! The event is from 4PM to 9PM and will include live music, food, drinks with dancing, and of course – fun! As a regular of AJ’s it is not uncommon to push the tables aside and dance the night away. Meeting up with old friends and making new ones, AJ’s is always a place for fun, laughter and dancing!

What’s so generous is that AJ’s on Main is incorporating helping the GRACE Food Pantry in their festivities!

Having retired from the U.S. Air Force as well as the local police department, AJ has often reached out to GRACE for support within the community. “It is an honor to work with other local residents and give back to the GRACE Food Pantry just as they have given hope to so many.”

Join the fun on Saturday with free BBQ sandwiches while enjoying amazing music from local bands, including Jacob Furr (4:00 – 5:30), The Scott and Sandy Show (5:45 – 7:15) and the Lindsey Kate Band (7:30 – 9:00). During the event, AJ’s will also be holding a spectacular auction and raffle to benefit the GRACE Food Pantry.

What started out as a simple way to leave your mark at the restaurant has quickly become a vision for AJ to give back to the community. A tradition at AJ’s has been to staple a dollar bill to the ceiling and eventually, once the ceiling was covered, every dollar that was there would be given back to Grapevine through the GRACE Food Pantry. Well, the ceiling is overflowing with money! AJ has spent the last week collecting the money and is excited to reveal the total amount at this 2nd Annual Music Fundraiser benefiting GRACE.

In addition, we will be selling Squares to guess the amount of money on the ceiling for an amazing prize!

Silent Auction items include, but are not limited to, an electric bike, a Solo Stove, a Grizzly 20 Cooler, a Wine Fusion Blending Class for 4, sports memorabilia, golf and restaurant packages, and more! Raffle items include an A Christmas Story leg lamp from Karbach Brewery – among other awesome items!
